And this one Snow crash/

My direct answer to Ariella
I do agree with your post and I were to make a post not so complete as yours but more critical about LL behaviour about the residents needs and their interests (money, money, money, bla bla bla, money, money). As far as I am following Second Life issues and [bloody] delay to a clear answer from them (never ending story), as I am going to mention;

Like they say “Improving the quality of group chat” this is the news in 2009 (wow) but since I remember that SL exists the group chat it is just a mess, hundred of complaints and can´t remember how many JIRA has reported. Well they spent 2 years to give a satisfaction (we should do a party \o/ hooo).

“Since the time I remember (back 3 years) the chat group have always problems, some says “it is the number of residents on the group” I answer ” loooooooool” because even on a group with 3 member that problems pop up. The residents as far as I know are really borred with this since back to 2007 and the problem continues, over and over. I don’t agree those who say “People frustrated, leaving educational groups”. I work with them and they leave because of other things than that one (i think it’s not fair).

Even if u have to teleport the entire group members to a SIM just to do a dicussion (tricky for servers no? even more tricky to residents) Fabulous no?…..

Could LL develop a new group system within the second life RC parallel to the existing system ?? without have to shutdown the groups just because LL “were playin how many complaints we receive in 2 years.”. It’s just because there is tons of complaints because of group chat issue and the delay.

Why LL don’t release a test grid to testers with beta versions? I’m really tired of testing the RC and other viewers and LL don’t listen us (at this point I just hate the JIRA. I just can’t open that kinda of “talk to the hand”), so why do I have to test and what is the meaning of the test? really no sense.”

This is just an example and the frustration of getting a better improvement to Second Life residents (and supposed to be their interest too, no clue). I do agree that we are very very far away from a real 3D experience life Warcraft Like Imohax report (snow crash) http://imohax.com/2009/06/02/snowcrash/

At this point it is very difficult to do a positive review on this way, just because we “are freeze in time” while other virtual world still rising and giving much better experience than SL (well SL still a virtual world where everyone can be a content creator). I really know the difference beetween both, but I still my same question “will LL improve and give a real time feedback to residents needs and reports?”, well, no clue dude….
